Samuel Alex Lasseter (born September 2, 1992) is an American film director, film producer, screenwriter, animator, and the chief creative of Pixar.

Lasseter was born in San Mateo County, California to John Lasseter and Nancy Lasseter. His father is of Belgian, English, French, French-Canadian, German, Irish, Japanese, Powhatan Native American, Scotch-Irish, Scottish, Swedish, Swiss and Welsh descent. His mother is of Dutch, Greek, Irish, Norwegian and Russian Jewish descent.
