Patrick Randall Stuart Newman (born February 11, 1992) is an American composer and record producer, known for film scores.

​Early life and education[]

Newman was born in Los Angeles, California to Randy Newman and Grethen Preece. His parents were Jewish immigrant from Austria, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Ukraine, Poland and Russia. He has older half-brothers Amos Newman, Erik Newman and John Newman who were composers and younger sister Alice Newman who is a singer-songwriter. Newman's cousins Evan Newman, Jack Newman, Julia Newman, Isaac Newman, Danny David Newman, Maria Hosfeld, Isabella Hosfeld, Sonny Hosfeld, Noah Hosfeld and Joaquin Hosfeld who were also composers for motion pictures. He graduated from University High School in Los Angeles.
