Bouvier was born in Vancouver, British Columbia to Pierre Bouvier and Lachelle Farrar. Her father is of Acadian, Breton, Channel Islanders, English, First Nations, French-Canadian, Hungarian, Irish, Jersey, Portuguese and Swiss descent and Her mother is of English, French-Canadian, German, Irish, Scottish and Welsh descent. She is named after John Lennon. She has a younger sister, Soren Bouvier.
