PenaVega was born in Maui, Hawaii to actor-musicians Carols PenaVega and Alexa PenaVega. His father is of Afro-Dominican, Spanish and Venezuelan descent and His mother is of Colombian, English and French descent. He has a long dreadlocks and athletic V-shaped body at age 2.
