Boyce was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Daniel Boyce and Maryann Ferrigno. His father is of Cornish, Dutch, English, French Huguenot, German, Irish, Mohawk Native American, Northern Irish (Scotch-Irish), Scottish, Swis, Wampanoag Native American and Welsh descent and His mother is of Italian descent. He has a younger brother Michael Boyce and younger sister Jessica Boyce.
