Richards was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to George Achile and Michele Richards. His father is of Cornish, Dutch, English, French Huguenot, German, Irish, Italian, Northern Irish (Scotch-Irish), Scottish and Welsh descent and His mother is of Japanese descent. He has a younger sister Lauren Richards.
