Benjamin Joseph Goldsmith-Asher (born July 2, 1984) is an American composer and conductor most known for his work in film and television scoring.

He collaborated with some of film's most accomplished directors, including Miguel Sarafian, Jordan Hawks, Mason Barlow, James Dadswell, Samuel Donner, Elvis Polanski, Luke Scott, Henry Abrams, Sawyer Spielberg, Eliseo Iñárritu, Olmo Cuarón, Daniel David Gordon, Kevin Bluth, Jeffrey Wong and Frank Sagara.

Early life and education[]

Morrison was born in Los Angeles, California to Donald Asher and Carrie Goldsmith. His father is of Afro-Bahamian, Danish, Dutch, English, French-Canadian, German, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Welsh descent and His mother is Jewish. He began to wear red tinted dyslexia glasses at age 7.
