Alyssa Jane Ashton (born April 1, 2011) is a Canadian singer-songwriter.

Early life[]

Ashton was born in Toronto, Ontario to Mike Ashton and Leslie Carter. Her father is of Danish, English, German, Irish, Norwegian, Scottish and Welsh descent and Her mother is of Ashkenazi Jewish, Blackfoot First Nations, Cornish, Dutch, English, French-Canadian, German, Irish, Luxembourgian, Northern Irish (Scotch-Irish), Scottish, Swedish, Swiss and Welsh descent. Her mother had complained of ill and died on January 31, 2012. Inspired by the loss of her mother and feeling out of place throughout her school years, she began writing poetry which eventually leads to songwriting.

Ashton signed to Atlantic Records at age 11 and released her debut album, Alyssa Ashton in 2022.

Ashton began relationship with Travis McGregor in 2028.
